To the Editor.

I was delighted to receive Stockbridge Updates. Thank you very much. I had the most wonderful and memorable holiday, after a month I was beginning to feel like a citizen of Stockbridge. It was lovely to return home to Malden... Soul-expanding stuff.

I was thinking, the first Stockbridge newspaper (a weekly), was The Western Star (1789-1794). From that first paper to your letter in Stockbridge Updates, 235 years later, there were always letters to the editor expressing the ease of living and the beauty of Stockbridge. Aren't we lucky to live here? Will our generation continue to protect it?
